Apple ID Access and Privacy Policy

At Sweetbay Legacy Co., protecting your privacy is one of my highest priorities. I understand that granting access to your Apple ID is a significant act of trust. This policy explains exactly how your information will be used throughout the photo organization process.

Why Apple ID Access May Be Needed

Some Apple Photos projects require temporary access to your Apple account in order to:

  • Access your iCloud Photos library
  • Enable or verify iCloud Photos synchronization
  • Review photo library settings
  • Organize photos, videos, albums, and metadata
  • Verify successful backup and synchronization
  • Troubleshoot Apple Photos issues

Not every project requires direct Apple ID access. Whenever possible, I will work alongside you or guide you through the process instead.

What I Will Access

During your project, I may temporarily access only the portions of your Apple account necessary to complete the agreed-upon services, including:

  • Apple Photos
  • iCloud Photos settings
  • Storage information related to Photos
  • Shared Albums (only when relevant to the project)

What I Will NOT Access

Unless you specifically request assistance, I will not access or review:

  • Email
  • Messages or iMessage
  • Contacts
  • Calendars
  • Notes
  • Safari history or bookmarks
  • Apple Wallet
  • Apple Pay
  • Health information
  • Passwords or Keychain
  • Files stored in iCloud Drive that are unrelated to your photo library
  • Purchases
  • Find My
  • Any other personal information unrelated to your photo organization project

Limited Use

Your Apple ID credentials will be used solely for completing the services outlined in our agreement.

Your information will never be used to:

  • View personal information unrelated to your project
  • Make purchases
  • Change account ownership
  • Add or remove trusted devices
  • Share your information with third parties
  • Sell or use your data for marketing purposes
  • Access your account after your project is complete

Password Security

Whenever possible, I encourage clients to:

  • Enter their own Apple ID password directly rather than sharing it with me.
  • Change their Apple ID password after the project if doing so provides additional peace of mind.
  • Enable two-factor authentication if it is not already enabled.

If you choose to share your Apple ID credentials with me for the duration of the project, they will be handled confidentially and used only as necessary to perform the agreed-upon services.

Two-Factor Authentication

Many Apple ID actions require two-factor authentication.

You may occasionally receive a verification code or approval request on one of your trusted Apple devices. If needed, I will ask you to approve only the specific login required to complete your project.

Confidentiality

All client information, photographs, videos, and account information are treated as strictly confidential.

I will never:

  • Copy or retain personal photographs except as required to perform the agreed-upon services.
  • Share your images with anyone else.
  • Use your photographs for marketing, demonstrations, or educational purposes without your written permission.

Data Protection

Any temporary working files or backups created during your project are used only to complete the work and are securely deleted after project completion unless otherwise agreed.

End of Project

At the completion of your project:

  • Any saved Apple ID credentials will be deleted.
  • Any temporary working copies will be securely removed unless you request otherwise.
  • You are encouraged to change your Apple ID password if desired.
  • Access to your Apple account ends immediately upon project completion.

Questions

If you have questions about how your Apple ID or personal information will be handled, please ask before work begins. I want you to feel completely comfortable and informed throughout the process.
