Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, for remote projects, temporary access to your Apple ID is currently required so I can organize your Apple Photos library. If we’re working together in person, you’re welcome to enter your password yourself on your device.

I understand that sharing your Apple ID is a significant decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. Your credentials are used only to access your Apple Photos library and complete the services you’ve requested. I will never access your email, messages, contacts, documents, or other personal information unless it’s directly necessary for your project and you’ve given permission.

To help protect your account:

  • Your Apple ID is used only for the duration of your project.
  • You are welcome to change your password as soon as your project is complete.
  • I recommend enabling two-factor authentication on your Apple ID if it isn’t already enabled.
  • I never share your login credentials with anyone else.
  • All work is handled personally by me, nothing is outsourced.

For more details about how I protect your information, please see my Privacy & Apple ID Access Policy.

Protecting your privacy is one of my highest priorities. My work is focused solely on organizing your Apple Photos library. I will not access your email, messages, contacts, documents, notes, or other personal information unless it’s directly related to your project and you have given me permission.

Once your project is finished, I recommend changing your Apple ID password for your own peace of mind. While I do not retain or reuse your login credentials, changing your password is a simple extra security step that many clients appreciate.

For more information about how I protect your information, please see my Privacy & Apple ID Access Policy.

Before I begin organizing your library, I create a complete backup of your Apple Photos library on an external hard drive. This provides an extra layer of protection and allows photos to be restored if needed.

I will never intentionally delete photos you want to keep. Any removal of duplicate, blurry, screenshot, or other unwanted photos will be discussed with you beforehand and performed only with your approval.

Before any organization begins, I create a complete backup of your Apple Photos library on an external hard drive. This ensures that your original photo library is protected throughout the entire process.

My goal is to preserve your memories—not remove them. I will only delete duplicate photos, blurry images, screenshots, or other unwanted items that we’ve discussed as part of your project. If I encounter anything I’m unsure about, I’ll consult with you before making a decision.

That’s perfectly fine—in fact, most of my clients do.

Your iCloud Photos library will remain intact while I organize your photos. Because iCloud syncs your library across your Apple devices, any approved organizational changes I make—such as removing duplicates, creating albums, or organizing your library—will automatically sync to your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Before any work begins, I’ll review your current setup to make sure everything is syncing properly and recommend any changes needed to protect your photo library.

No. In most cases, everything can be completed remotely, so there’s no need to ship your computer or other Apple devices.

If you’re located nearby, we can also work together in person, and you’re welcome to enter your Apple ID password yourself if you prefer.

If your situation requires a different approach, I’ll discuss the available options with you during your consultation and recommend the safest and most convenient solution.

The timeline depends on the size and condition of your photo library. Smaller libraries can often be completed within a few days, while larger or more complex collections may take one to several weeks.

During your free consultation, I’ll review your library and provide an estimated completion time before any work begins.

Pricing is based on the number of photos in your Apple Photos library. You can view my current pricing and available add-on services on this page.

If your library contains more than 30,000 photos or has unique requirements, I’ll provide a custom quote after your consultation.

I specialize in Apple Photos and support photo libraries used on:

  • iPhone
  • iPad
  • Mac

Whether you use one device or several, I’ll help ensure your photo library is organized and working seamlessly across your Apple devices.

That’s completely normal. Most Apple users have multiple devices.

As long as your devices are connected to the same Apple ID and using iCloud Photos, your organized photo library will automatically sync across your supported devices.

Yes. If your spouse has a separate Apple Photos library or uses a different Apple ID, I can organize it as a separate project.

If you use a Shared Library or Family Sharing, we’ll discuss the best approach during your consultation to ensure everyone’s photos are handled appropriately.

No. Organizing your Apple Photos library will not change your Family Sharing settings.

If you use an Apple Photos Shared Library, any approved organizational changes made to shared photos may be reflected for everyone who has access to that Shared Library. We’ll review your setup before beginning so you know exactly what to expect.

Yes, but maintaining an organized library requires a few simple habits.

When your project is complete, I’ll provide recommendations for keeping your Apple Photos library organized, along with tips for managing new photos, screenshots, and duplicates so your library stays organized long after the project is finished.

Your photo library is backed up before any organization begins, providing an additional layer of protection throughout the project.

While I take great care when working with every library, the backup allows photos to be restored if necessary. My goal is to ensure your memories remain safe throughout the entire process.

Not necessarily.

If you already own a compatible external hard drive with enough available space, we may be able to use it. If not, I can recommend the appropriate drive for your photo library or provide one as part of an optional backup service.

We’ll discuss your specific needs during your consultation.

Yes. Most of my projects are completed remotely, allowing me to work with clients regardless of their location.

If you’re located in the North Georgia area, I also offer in-person appointments when appropriate.

At this time, I specialize exclusively in Apple Photos for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

By focusing on one ecosystem, I’m able to provide a deeper level of expertise and a more streamlined experience for my clients.

Google Photos, Windows photo libraries, and other platforms may be offered as future services.

I’d be happy to help. Schedule a free, no-obligation consultation, and we’ll discuss your photo library, answer your questions, and determine whether my Apple Photos Organization Service is the right fit for your needs.
